what do you think macho, i cant say a exact price bt hope 32k, good price ne? (those days it was 38k), noe unity hav it for 35k, 3 yrs warranty + 2 yrs extended after registering the product

who was talking about gigabyte here , gigabyte card cooler only covers gpu i think- zalman cooler, not ram chips!

n mate i saw that card @ unity for 38k sometime back. what is the shop ?

it is probably a 512mb TurboCache card....which means its dedicated video memory is 256mb but the windows shared video memory is 256mb which makes it 512mb...but the card is really 256mb

i could be wrong and if that is the case i am very sorry. Have a lovely day guys!

here in xp it shows as 512mb vga don't know why it shows as 256 mb card in vista
also at start up it shows as 512mb vga

Nvidia call there production of these sort of cards TurboCache

The card itself is 256mb but it can have up to 512mb of memory by sucking up the computer's RAM through the "TurboCache" technology.

Vista is wierd..i think they display as 256mb because it uses quite a bit of vga ram for that Vista Aero Experience thing...you know, all those sleek and nice looking glass effects. if you want to play games smoother with any video card....XP is the way to go...but i dont really have to worry because my desktop has a 8800GT.

nvida 8500GT and 8600GT also comes with turbo cache.....check the link i posted in above post
