Sparkle Computer Co. has now elevated the GeForce 9600 GT to Calibre status courtesy of the new P960 card. Featuring a black PCB, Sparlke's card is factory overclocked and it features all the perks of a G94-equipped products - DirectX 10.0 and OpenGL 2.1 support, a 256-bit memory interface, PCI-Express 2.0 and 64 Stream Processors.

The Calibre P960's GPU, Shader and memory frequencies are set to 700, 1850 and 2000 MHz respectively so that should be enough to turn a few heads but the card'ss appeal doesn't stop there as it boasts solid capacitors plus a dual-fan cooling system.

Developed by Sparkle, the Called Dual Fly Cooling System consists of aluminum die-casting thermal base with copper core inside, three high-efficient heatpipes and two fans with 0.2 mm thin cooling fins, fans that are said to have a noise output of 29dB.

Equipped with 512MB of memory, the Calibre P960 is expected to be available soon though no price tag has been announced.
