I dnt see anything wrong with mahindas speech, also there is a big difference between mahinda and lincon,

lincon did something for USA and we cant expect Mahinda to do the same thing to SL, then we have to call Mahinda Lincon and Lincon Rajapaksha what we have to accepct is mahinda ended the bloody war been a hedache for SL more than 30 yrs, so thats what makes mahinda better than lincon for Sri lankans

There are lods of thigs to do for soldires atula, some of them even dnt have propere place to live, also government need to take care familes of the soldires who gave their life for the war,

New Houses for soldires
New houses for the families of the soldire gave their life
Totally Free Education up to uni for soldies kids
Increse the pention

those are some small examples and im pretty sure mahinda will no screw it, hes always a man with a Plan, no one can deny it

I feel that many politicians who are in charge of these things will rob lot of money... even before they reach the hands of these helpless families..
Most politicians are vultures.

I think all thes families should rally under one organization to win their rights.

you also have a gud point here, but Sewawanitha helped so many in past, there is a very famous lady in SL who use to win some medels for our Country and later gave silly exucuses after she lost, for her sewavanita did alot, from clothes, shoes etc

Is it a government institution..
What I suggest is an independent organization of themselves to stand up for them to win their rights...
I think much of the compensation due to go to parents may be robbed.. because many are not aware of it. When it was implemented that was the first thought came to my mind.

There already is a scheme to provider houses for Forces.
There already is a school exclusive for kids of soldiers (all 3 forces).

Actually Atula i took that pic, there are few more pics that my cousings took im infront Lincons statue, i see Lincon as some one who done somethng to USA, its not important to me, what matter to me is someone who done something to my mother Land Sri Lanka, for u Lincon must be the greatest ever, but for me Army soldire who sacrifised his life in the war is million time hero than Lincon
