G.C.E. Advanced Level examination results will be delayed by another three days, Examinations Chief Anura Edirisinghe said.
President Rajapaksa at the monthly meeting with editors of media organizations on Monday telephoned Mr. Edirisinghe and inquired on the delay.
Mr. Edirisinghe has said that an issue in finalizing the Z-score university entrance points system by the University Grants Commission has resulted in the delay.
He said that as the exam was held under two syllabuses there was a difficulty in finalizing the formula.
