A little help on animation

Hi guys
i hav been asked to make an animation on antidrugs or anti-alcohol by school for sum competition. But u hav NO idea about animation.
Can any1 recommen which software i should use.. flash or 3d studio max or wat? n if u can post links to any gud totorials or giv or own tips it wud b very helpful. Sorry i had to ask for help here because the deadline is friday.

Flash does the job... also you can find a lot of tutorials in the web to improve it!!!
