A Police Constable attached to Thirukkovil Police station was abducted by unidentified gunmen yesterday (Thursday the 27th of July) evening.
This incident took place in the Vinayagapuram area at 6.30 p.m. yesterday.
The residence of the abducted police station is also located in this area.
The victim was abducted when he was on his way to report for duty from his residence on his foot cycle.
The Police Constable Jeyarasa Jeyabala Rajendran was attached to Thirukkovil Police station from year 2002.
PC Jayarasa was a father of one child.
