I've travelled in most Indian airlines - Air India, Vistara, Indigo, Thunapaha Jet, Jet Airways etc. All of them are terrible in service. Even Indigo and Vistara. When things go wrong, they really go wrong. Believe it or not, Air India is probably best of them all so you can imagine how others are.

The above video is from a Vistara aircraft (supposed to be the best), so you can imagine how the rest is.

Srilankan airlines is far ahead of any of the airlines in the region, but it can be far better. Srilankan has the potential to compete with Malaysian Airlines, Etihad etc (may be not Qatar or Emirates). Its unfortunate that Mahinda ruined the airline by giving the management to his cronies.

When StiLankan airlines had a codeshare agreement with Emirates, it was rated as a 4 airline at that time. It was the golden age of Sti Lankan.
Afterwards that SOB Mahinda let Mihin Air shitty staff to join with SriLankan & his uneducated & unqualified relatives to run the business. He himself also misused the flag carrier as much as possible. Too many staff & piss poor management caused the SriLankan to dig its own graveyard. So sad!
