An exactly similar laptop with same specifications, is available in Sri Lanka and it's known as Acer E5 (or E15) - 575G. However, this model is sold by Metropolitan only under their "Laptop Loans for University Students" programme.

The first stock arrived with a 4 GB DDR4 RAM (and with Windows 10 Home). The present stock which they sell (same model) has an 8 GB DDR4 RAM (but without Windows 10). And yeah, this model has an Nvidia 940MX GPU :)

It's powered by an Intel Core i5 6200U CPU along with a Full HD Display.

Has F15 got an SSD in it? Actually, E15-575G has a 1 TB mechanical HDD and not an SSD. I bought the 4 GB RAM version and replaced the existing Optical Drive with an SSD and upgraded the RAM to 8 GB (in the near future, will make it 16 GB). For the laptop, it cost me Rs. 75,900 and for SSD + 8 GB RAM, it cost me about Rs. 30,000

Full HD means 1920 x 1080 resolution :baffled:

Are the laptop prices in NZ much higher than the prices of SL market? However, for the general market, Metropolitan sells E5-574G which is older than 575G. If someone wants a laptop that has similar specs to that of 575G, it costs about Rs. 100,000 (yet 574G has a DDR3 RAM and 920MX GPU if I'm correct).

I'm not sure how Metropolitan offers this laptop for this kind of an attractive price. It's damn worth the money

 It's available in Amazon for $550 :baffled: I don't think that, for general day to day work, the HD or Full HD resolutions, would make a highly effective difference. Personally I love the Full HD displays for its clarity. But for the first few days, I used to view everything in 100% size which in turn gave me pains in the eyes (because of small letters). Now I make sure that I zoom it to 125% in chrome and it's better. And in windows, I've kept it at 100% because it does not affect my eyes at all.

ayya this E5-575G has an M2.2280 SSD Slot, so I believe that your model might have got such a slot. If you're going to buy an SSD, check the availability of the slot for the M2 SSD :) I got to know about the existence of M2 slot only after buying the regular 2.5" SSD :( Since I had anyway decided to get rid of the Optical drive, I went ahead and made the modification (through a metropolitan service center). With SSD, this laptop is lightening fast! :)

Now you've got a 940MX and it's time to start mid to lower-high end gaming  I would love to test GTA V (or whatever the last release of GTA), but still didn't get it. It's around 60 GB lu neh.. :baffled:
