ADSL speed droped?

I have ADSL xcite package. Usually its download speed around 110KB/s. Form the last morning (13/03), it was very very slow.

I'm in kurunegala, does anyone experiencing same issue?

I called to ADSL CC. then, A technical person came and test my connection, He told that the connection/line is pretty good and no reason to drop the speed, He downloaded a file from the SLT.lk and show me here is our speed. (It was around 120kB/s) But, when i try to test the speed using speedtest.net (Mumbai server) , it shows only 12KB/s. he tald me "I'll check this out and comeback tomorrow"

Any idea?

Yeah it must be the package...Something is Wrong with xcite package

I hav got the same problem bro...i'm experiencing it past 2 months!
i actually dint hav time to call up the ADSL customer service n lodge a complaint!

hmm i dnt have a problem wid ma speed but it dropped so many times even when m using a router..

i think SLT is doing some upgrading maybe thats why its kind of slow at times, anyhow it all depends on intl bandwith not just cuz your network supports upto 1mbps, basically it can support upto 1mbps with restrictions occurd as network traffic, etc

May be an Upgrade, But ADSL CC kattiya eka dana ganna one ne. Eyala upgrade ekak gana danne na.

Must be something wrong with xCite package.

Using XCite and speed has dropped here too. Works well for all sl sites defence.lk, sltnet.lk, dialog.lk but when trying to connect to outside ones o get only about 12KB per sec download speed.

XCite speeds are still unbearable here. Will move to Dialog as there is no use paying Rs 2900 monthly for this cr@p.

I am Sticking With SLT coz No Drops Like Dialog thy have Complete Drops..not Like this...This is Much better..
My Speed is Comin back.no MY Speed is at 60...
Can Be the rain Or Smthing ....!

machan same problem with me. If you browse sri lankan sites with .lk the speed is ok. When browsing other sites browsing speed is 10kbps and downloading speed is 5KB\s.
