I'm not sure if investing in a fund managed by AIA is a good idea considering the number of insurance/finance companies leaving Sri Lanka.
Allianz Sri Lanka is selling off its business, Standard Chartered is exiting Sri Lanka and HSBC is planning to exit Sri Lanka.

Your savings might be protected even if AIA leaves Sri Lanka but you may not get the expected return.

I too agree with buying gold. Get old gold from a jewellery shop in Pettah. I can recommend Ravi Jewellers. Or buy from a pawn shop whenever they sell.
