Message: <blockquote data-quote="mayadmax" data-source="post: 25483566" data-attributes="member: 28432">main concerns i faced- No proper brands available- Cooler is fairly short (if you buy a small capacity you need to keep it on a stand to raise it up to ur needs)- Smaller capacity (if you buy a small capacity you need to feed in water daily or every 3,4 hrs)- not enough fan power (smaller capacities have smaller fans) . smaller the fan theres not enough evaporative cooling power- no proper mechanism to feed in water (some have small inlets where its hard to put in water from a bucket)- no ice compartment (none of the smaller aircoolers have an ice compartment)- No remote controlBut since my work environment cannot be sealed to fix an AC, i bought a honeywell 60 liter aircooler and it works greatreasons to buy- Height is perfect- have wheels to move and turn- have a water inlet (plug a hose and open it to a certain level (fresh water gives enough cooling rather than keeping hot water in its tank)- have a big side door to feed in water if feeding from a bucket- 60 liters is enough to work nonstop for 3 days or a week if used for about 8hrs- Fan speed is superb- covers a large area- have an ice compartment- have a remote- easy to clean (there is a dust filter. better to clean it regularly)- does not make ur skin dry like AC- low level water cut off alarm- provides enough cooling to work comfortably- super low power consumption compared to ACfew things to note.- aircoolers are not AC- you cant expect is to cool a room like an AC- it takes sometime to cool- if you keep in a very hot environment it wont be enough- aircoolers are spot coolers. does not cool the whole room so better to direct it to the location you need it (eg: bed/ table)- i clean it every week or every 2 weeks (our water is not clean. not good to keep for a long period and mud get depositedoverall. im very satisfied with the product and amount of cooling it gives. if you add a drop of essential oil it gives a pleasent smell as well. unlike an ACsame as AC, check the size of the room. Amount of features you need. do regular cleaning (mala yaka wage gedara gihin dala use karot after 1 month ul have to throw. the condition of all aircoolers i have seen in peoples offices and homes are pathetic due to not been taken care of.)Honeywell 60litre = 35000 (anik eka brand ekak wat set une na compared to everything ive mentioned including singer)</blockquote>
