Military Spokesman Brig. Udaya Nanayakkara said the Air Force successfully raided an LTTE training camp at Muppiyakattukulam in Oddu-Sudan this morning.
He said from the messages intercepted, it was evident that many LTTE terrorists were in the camp at the time of the air raid.
The Brigadier said that the Air Force attacked an LTTE training camp at Muppiyankattu, located west of Oddusuddan between 7.15 and 7.45 this morning using Kafirs and Migs of the Air Force. He added that the pilots confirmed the complete destruction of the camp.
