hi.. im using airtel broadband... the speed is Ok.. my speed comes averagely okay for price.. i get sometimes 30kbps then 50-60 kbps then sometimes 200 kbps depending on how much of traffic.. hebei 200kbps hondai windai 10kata ita passe bahenawa 30-40kbps sometimes even 20ish... i still havent got the bill once i get the bill i will let you know.. only problem is disconnection (download becomes 0.00 [down] every 1.5 hrs) good luck!!!

hey im at rajagiriya!!! i tried putting a dialog mobitel tigo sims .. and stupid dialog HSDPA sim and it doesnt detect.. and you cant unlock that specific airtel modem.. i think maybe in future like in a yr they might introduce a crack!!!

its not worth buying from ebay for $80.. 80X114=9120 its not worth because
1. you have to wait 1-2 weeks for your modem to arrive, at any condition
2. you maybe affected by customs duty
3. your modem doesnt carry a warranty
anyhow what you can do is use a dialog modem which is huawei e220 roughly around 8000 at dialog (if your buying a package, the modems price is 5490, while you have to have a 6 months contract, i dont think you can disconnect it).
if you do buy airtels modem its going to cost around 10560, locked to airtel, and the data sim is 500 rupees, make sure you have 3g coverage so you are not kept away from obtaining full HSDPA speeds

hi im using airtel data 600 package.really good because im using my nokia 6233 3G phone as a modem.i get ADSL speeds.when downloading it is between 20-100kbps.uploadin is great and surfing speed is great though i use a 3G phone.if u have a USB HSPA modem u can get higher speeds than mine.i got my first bill as Rs.614/=.after that it is Rs.761.57 for evey month with taxes.now im usin this for 3 months....im in piliyandala!!!!i have never exceede my free data bundle of 3GB for every month!!
