We all have our self knowledge and belief bestowed upon us by Allah, the Creator. We need to improve it as much as we can; such proofs can be helpful. But don't forget, in the past tribes, all those requiring proofs / miracles  from Prophets were the most fierce disbelievers, who did not belive after showing the miracle itself.
