Ambuluwawa Tower video gets international attention

A video shared by a foreign tourist of the Ambuluwawa Tower, located in the suburbs of Gampola Town in Sri Lanka, has gone viral on social media platforms.

The video by Massimo (@Rainmaker1973) has also drawn a response from Elon Musk, the CEO of Twitter, Tesla and SpaceX.

“The Ambuluwawa Tower is located in the suburbs of Gampola Town in Sri Lanka: it’s 48 meters tall, cone-shaped tower housing the Stupa (Pagoda) of a Buddhist Temple,” Massimo described the tourist attraction by sharing a video of him climbing the tower. (NewsWire)
