This DVD is a wonderful beginning yoga resource and a great introduction to Ana Forrest Yoga. While some of the poses may be
challenging to people new to yoga, the long holds give one a chance to really find their comfort zone in each posture and
Ana's ongoing and insightful tips for practice really help the practitioner to learn what they need to know. Her emphasis on
linking the breath and intention with the poses helps the beginner to learn to maintain focus while practicing. As in much of
Forrest Yoga, there is a special emphasis on developing core and upper body strength so at the end of the class, one feels
like they've had a workout. The basic class runs for about one hour. Also included on this DVD, is a beautiful demonstration
by Ana of advanced flow yoga that is graceful, lyrical and inspiring to watch, though most of us will never practice this
level of asana.
