Jayakody, President of the “Dumbara Mituro” environmental organization Nimal Ananda Kanaherarchchi and OIC Naula police IP Sugath Bandara Wijesundara visited the site on information provided by the residents of the area. On inspection they found the fragments of pots other cooking utensils that could date back to a time many centuries ago.Officials were of opinion that a formal research would lay bare the historical facts about human habitats that existed in the area centuries ago.
