Could you define ''stuck''?...and no I dont think that will help you its for memory utilization......
The game doesnt actually get on well with ATI cards maybe thats the issue you are having
But the developers claimed to fix it with the game patch so I suggest you try that...

May or may not work...As I said before this is an issue most of the ATI users are having...+ Your CPU is not powerful enough for the game (very cpu dependent this one)...and make sure to close any background apps running

Same thing....try the things these guys have done...pretty much trial and error for this issue....
I used a RIP and had some issues which went away after I tried a save file by someone else. But the issues were in the game unlike you who are having them at the menu....
