Colombo recently saw two ‘craters’ in Maradana and Wellawatte. The latest instance in which the road caved in was witnessed last night in Borella, near the Devi Balika Vidyalaya traffic lights. Police and experts from the RDA and CMC were inspecting the site. A huge traffic jam ensued until Police diverted vehicles to other roads.
