Any one Ordered using EMS ?!

Hey,

I'm ordering a valuable peace of equipment from the US and I'm planing to use EMS shipping with insurance its going to be shipped with a Express Mail® International Legal Flat Rate Envelope with insurance its going to cost me $29.80 Weight around 400-500g I need to know if it will come to my house or will it held at the post office ? If you have any experience with them EMS please do post your opinion.

normally usps send their items through ems within sri lanka. but when i called ems oneday they said usps also uses some other services here. but mine was through ems. i too bought a valuable item but was little big in size, anyway was held by them.
since this is state express mail service, you have to go there to get it. in the most unlikely case it might come directly, if you are lucky
