i think you can do it straight from the MS word 2007.
Goto,

save as > PDF or XPS

Foxit is good as it is lite and portable but Adobe reader is perfect since foxit cant handle the paragraphs,bookmarks well.So for the best you need adobe reader But even I use Foxit reader.
