Galaha, Sri Lanka (near Kandy)

How to get there: This meditation centre is near the top of a mountain in the highland tea estate region just south of Kandy. Take the Galaha bus from Kandy, ask for a ticket to Nilambe Bungalow Junction. Follow the main road to the top of the mountain. It's about a 45 minutes walk. You can also use the stairs through the tea plantation, (if there's rain, they are not useful). Meals and lodging are 300 Rs. per day.
