Subject: Items for battle casualties - API WENUVEN API
Hi,
I am writing this for a humanatarian appeal.
As you know we are fighting in 3 fronts in the Wanni. We have intensified our operations and we have lot of succes. We have been successful in eliminating an average of 400 LTTE cardes a month.
No battle could be fought without casualties. We too have few casualties including minor injuries.
All wounded are evacuated by air to Anuradhapura and admitted to Army Hosp or General Hosp Army ward depending on the seriousnous of the injury.
Since they are evacuated straight from the battle field they do not come with any personal belongings. Hence Hosp issues them basics as given below.
Tooth Paste
Tooth Brush
Towel (Medium)
Slippers size7,8,9
Soap
Above items are in short supply at Anuradhapura , and I am appealing to donors. My wife too is on the job thro Seva Vanitha.
I will be able to arrange the donation at ANP Army hosp.
I am sure if you circulate thro your companies, they will be delighted to offer.
Hence I am forwarding this apeal to you. I am sure your contribution will go a long way in helping the brave soldiers when they are in need at the Hosp.
