For god's sake do not continue on application support path. Here is why, application support is heavily depends on the company/domain you are working. Assume you worked as an application Eng in telco and then joined publishing company. Your previous domain experience is totally irrelevant now. If you really want to start then make sure to switch to DevOps or cloud side later on . Also if you want to earn good salary you need to do 24*7 shifts. Just keep in mind have to do  overnight shifts</p></blockquote><p></p>
