On June 13, Aarti developed a fever. On June 15, she was diagnosed with pneumonia. At 8.30 pm the same night, she breathed her last.
“She was fiercely independent before the accident. It must have bothered her that she was dependent on others. She was like a child and I felt like her father,” said Pawar who couldn’t hold back his tears.
