Arjuna Ranatunga to support Sarath Fonseka

SLFP MP Arjuna Ranathunga has expressed his support for Rtd. General Sarath Fonseka at the upcoming Presidential elections. He also added that he will remain a member of the SLFP and support Fonseka at the election to ensure that he will come into power.

As per the reliable sources, several senior ministers of the government would join Gen. Fonseka’s campaign in the near future and among them are several Tamil ministers from the estate sector. Also, several members of Western Provincial Council are prepared to join Gen. Fonseka and those who join the campaign of Gen. Fonseka would come on stage of the Common Candidate’s meetings says this source.
