President wants armed forces included in nomination list: Minister

President Mahinda Rajapaksa had instructed at least the name of one member of the armed forces be included in every district nomination list of the UPFA for the upcoming Provincial Council elections, a senior campaign manager of the party Healthcare and Nutrition Minister Nimal Siripala De Silva said.

Wow!

I think they are well equiped and well trained for the election style of today..
and Politics is the only job which does not ask for any qualifications..

Politics really has become a life and death struggle for power.
At least they can take care of themselves without bodyguards.
Even if they can't save life
death is not an experience they denied.
They have faced Tamil Terrorists -the worlds best,
and it won't be difficult in anyway with Sinhalese terrorists,
Unless they go opposite Karuna and Pillayan.
