Army mobile troops jumped into action and chased the fleeing van and shot at it. However, when the vehicle continued its tour further, troops opened fire on the driver. The driver however died of gunshot injuries on the spot and the vehicle went off the road and stopped.The Police have undertaken investigations after the girl in question was rescued.</blockquote>
