Army registered their first win for the season beating Old Zhairians by 55 points(five goals and four tries) to 5 (one try) in their Caltex A-division league first round rugby match played at Police Park yesterday.
Army led the game 19-5 at the breather.
Scrum half Suranga, flanker Karunarathne, winger Parakum and centre Abuwangala scored one try each while winger Saliya Handapangoda with two tries and flanker Mahesh Perera with three tries scored more tries for the winners.
Full-back T. A Silva converted two tries while Harishchandra converted three tries.
