to be frank asantha de mel is one very arrogant ,rude & person who will never ever heed to other people's advice or views. so keeping him at the helm of sl cricket selection commitee will not only harm the future of the sl cricket as well as future of young budding cricketers. unfortunetly he seem to be quite immune to anything & thus can get away with any wrong doing without beign punished due to a some mysterious reason. See what happened to recent hedging deal.
I sincerely feel that srilanka's cricket will be very much better off with out a person of asantha de mel's calibre as the cheif selector.
