On October 12 of 2000 while refueling in the port of Aden in Yemeni, the USS Cole was attacked by suicide bombers. 17 American sailors were killed and 39 were injured. In 2008, USS Cole was back to patrol the coast of Lebanon on its first mission after the attack. Thank you to the lost and injured of the USS Cole.
