Not to spoil the party, but I am having a feeling this will be fucked up as well like what happened to other recent famous TV series that were adopted from books or previous work.
(e.g. The Witcher, Rings of Power, Star Wars, Prequels of Harry potter (that magic creatures or whatever) )

IMO, only HBO is reliable for such adaptations. Cannot trust Netflix, Amazon or any other streaming services to do the justice. They will bring all these WOKE shits, bad directors and whatnot.
