They will never refund the money, the only thing they will do is replace the card with something else  with the current price of the card & you may even have to pay the differance... I remember sth like this happend to a friend of mine about some times back when he bought X800XL & in 2 months it burnt & they said they dont import it anymore. So he had to go for another card with differance paid. Eventhough the warrenty said its 3years they calculated the current price of the card for 1 year ( price * 10 / 12 ) ... This was @ PC house not Barclays though...
