When you visit Public places like toilets, bathrooms, spas, hotel rooms or changing rooms; how many of you are sure that the Mirror hanging on the wall is a true mirror and not a Two-way mirror?
A Two-way mirror is actually a window through which people from other side can see you, but you can't see them. There have been many cases of people installing 2-way mirrors in female changing rooms.
It's very difficult to identify the surface by just looking at it.
So, How Can You Determine What Type of Mirror are You Looking at?
Just place the tip of your fingernail against the reflective surface and if there is a gap between your fingernail and the image of the nail, it is a true mirror. However, if your fingernail directly touches the image of your nail....then be aware...you could be looking into a 2-way mirror!
