Karunanidhi has told NDTV India that LTTE leader Vellupillai Prabakaran is not a terrorist and that he will have “deep regrets” if the Tiger chief is killed during the military operations in Sri Lanka. “Prabhakaran is my friend and I’m not a terrorist,” NDTV quoted the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister of telling the channel in an exclusive interview. NDTV quoted Karunanidhi as saying that the LTTE has legitimate goals but use the wrong methods in order to achieve them.
