what happened last time?
I asked them not to put elakiri.lk due to many reasons even though we won it last time.
1. We are not happy with how they deal with fairness of the competition and fake votes.
I know its bit hard to catch fake online votes when they do it in mass, But it's not even satisfactory when you look at the last years results. I am not complaining anyone. It's just an event to promote .LK domains in Sri Lanka so i think it's doing that job well. I see lot of participants this time, which is a very good thing.
2. Its not feeling good to ask people to vote us and place big banners etc.. asking to vote us. Its not good for our image to go after ppl and ask to vote us.
3. We are mainly targeting on .com domain so i think its not suitable to compete with .lk sites in such event although we have a .lk domain name too.
Anyway everyone knows elakiri.com is the no1 most visited srilankan site according to Alexa or any other ranking system.
So i think lets wish all the participants in the best web competition all the best and success! Good Luck!

Yeap GTRZ is right....putting banners and asking to vote us is not a good thing...Elakiri is the best.
