this is a slight inuendo about the Sri Lankan culture's primitive nature.
what he says, if you think carefully, is that Sri Lankans are in a primitive culture that has some mythical explanation for scientific phenomena. and also that some people use this naiivete for their own profit. especially the so called witch doctors(weda hamuduruwo, williya, rodiya, gurunnanse, etc.,)
isn't this true, and don't our people deserve this reputation? it is, and we do, mate.
