Every PC gamer knows Bioshock is the newest super cool game released recently...But most people, like myself
@), have been ruled out of the Bioshock community because the developer was shortsighted and lazy in not supporting it on SM2 cards...such as the pre X1000 series cards from ATI...X700 and X800 series...Out of them, X800 has the raw power to drive all the latest games at acceptable quality levels...but only lacks the SM3 functions, whose output is still achieved by spending a little more clock cycles in SM2 mode...
But....here's the best part. You can, if you want to, get it to work on the X700 and X800 series cards...or even on your 9800 series cards with applying the SM2 mods some people have successfully done.

You can find several mods for each family of cards...and the performance as I heard is pretty awesome. Of course they are not perfect...there are few graphical glitches here and there...but if that's what it takes to play the game in X800 hardware, I wouldn't give a damn about those glitches.
I'm downloading the game, and will try out the mods as soon as it's installed. 6GB+....damn!!!
