I cannot steal cookies, thats impossible unless the cookie is set to be read by csoft-p.no-ip.info :)

I don't understand? Anyway a friend once told me to be careful about clicking links on forums.

If there is a way someone can do it by simply placing a link on the forum and when somebody clicks that link login details stored in cookies can be stolen.

Cookies are encrypted to the domain. When a cookie is set on this forum the cookie can only been read on www.elekiri.com. Otherwise people wouldn't store passwords in cookies now would they?

Whoever told you that is a great day idiot

My friend whoever told me that stole passwords in front of my eyes.

I don't know the details but he said some websites have weaknesses that can be exploited to display the cookie info. If such a weakness can be found the info can be stolen.

hmm thats odd. Its impossible for another website to get a cookie of another website unless one web site sets a cookie on behalf of the other. Cookies have been around for long time and I do think they have a considerable amount of safety. Your friend might have added a keylogger of some sort. Otherwise he might have simulated this 'setting cookies in behalf of another' situation. Everything from Paypal, E-gold and even the dialog GSM website uses cookies.

Don't you think you should be looking into more information instead of bashing into my topic like I'm some sort of evil hacker. :(

Woah bro, take it easy... I'm not accusing you of being an evil hacker. In fact talking about it openly only makes me think otherwise.

I'm not bashing into your topic bro. I was asking in a friendly manner if you were stealing cookies, half joking too. Wait my friend is online I'll get you some info from him.

Kewl but everything can be reverse engineered no?

Anyway I didn't mean to offend you bro. Take it easy k? ;)

My topic has turned into a cookies and browser exploits. Normally this site has to have Cross Site Scripting venerability for a hacker to get the cookies. But why did he have to show this off in my topic? May be because I'm new? May be because my domain seems odd? May be because my page has a send button? What a welcome! Thanks a lot. By the way, have you'll every noticed Rapidshare and other uploads can be doing these exploits? After all they have Javascript to make the timer count.

What a topic! if there was a delete button I'd delete this topic because I lost all hope in it. :(

Oh boy. Man I'm so sorry I made you feel this way. Let's not talk about it and get back on topic.

Again I didn't want to make you feel like this. So real sorry :sorry:

It has nothing to do with you being new or your sites address or anything for that matter. It's just something my friend warned me of and freaked me out a bit how easily it could be achieved. I'm also new here barely a month since I joined.

Sorry sorry sorry sorry sorry. :(

Gah, you people don't know who I am.. I've been on the internet for 6 years. Anyway, my friends at other places voted. So I'm not at a complete loss (I never lose). Not my fault that people here don't like new people. And instead of commenting on something I made people criticize it. I'm never posting any of my creations here again. If I post a program here people will go "its a exe! it might be a virus!"... May be I should make a game in Plain Text so it won't hurt anyone but then again the characters might be a windows exploit code.

Worst experience at a community I've ever had from over the 40+ I'm registered on. Trust me... this community is unique.. so uniquely unfair :(
