The Sri Lankan Emigration and Immigration authorities have informed the Emigration and Immigration Unit of the Katunayake International Airport to be on the alert, whether a person called Bilal Phillips, an extremist Muslim priest who was alleged for conspiring the blast of the World Trade Center of U.S.A, will arrive at the island through Katunayaka International airport.
Information have been received by the intelligence sectors that, this person is due to arrive in Sri Lanka as a tourist to participate in a seminar which will be held in Colombo on the 5th of January.
Reports say that, he, who is a Canadian citizen is due to be arrived in Sri Lanka from State of Qatar.
Earlier, the Australian government also has expelled this person, sources say.
