A group of design students from the ISD of Valenciennes in France have unveiled a slick concept BMW motorcycle powered by a hydrogen fuel cell. Hydrogen is stored in a 20-liter cryogenic tank mounted where the engine would normally sit, with a suspension consisting of single-sided swing arms front and rear. Propulsion comes via a shaft drive system from the 100 kilowatt motor.
Brimstone Quadracycle Beast of Bike
This Brimstone Quadracycle is part motorcycle, part ATV, all badass. It is equipped with a 455 cubic inch aluminum Dart V8 engine that pumps out 750 horses, can go from 0-60 mph in just 2.8 seconds, 0-120 mph in 6 seconds, and fuel wise it gets 30 miles to the gallon. Brimstone is now taking orders for the Quadracycle, but no price has been announced yet.
