What you will have to do: -
- Reconciling bank, creditors, debtors, petty cash PAYE, company credit cards etc.
- Preparing and send sales invoices and record costs, send customer statements.
- Prepare reports. Issue receipts.
- Prepare costing and expenses reports for management.
- Help with the team manager on the accounting task and documentations

- Work on tasks given by the manager to fulfil day to day business.
- Preparing cash flows for management and preparing accounting files for audits.
- Report generation (debtors, profit, and loss, etc.) and asset management.
- Supporting the day to day running of the office.
- Ordering all supplies and Liaising with suppliers and keep on track.
- Organizing payments schedules.
- Year End (in conjunction with the company’s accountancy firm).
- Answering the telephone and responding to email enquiries.
What you will need to have: -
- Good speaking and written English are desirable.
- Partially qualified in AAT/ ICB is desirable but not needed.
- A minimum of 2 years experience as a bookkeeper is desirable.
- Good knowledge of computer and internet surfing.
- Highly competent in MS Office, in particular Word and Excel.
- Good knowledge in Xero, Quickbook or Sage accounting packages is desirable.
- Good with numbers, attention to detail, organisation skills, and ability to stay focused on assigned tasks desirable.
- Experience in bookkeeping in a UK firm is desirable.
- Experience in filling UK accounts from Sri Lanka to HRMC would be desirable but not needed desirable.
Please note - The successful candidate will reside within reasonable travelling distance to the office in Colombo, Hokandara Sri Lanka. Candidates who meet the above criterion will be invited to an online interview, followed by an on-site interview at our offices in Colombo Sri Lanka, if successful. Salary range will be 75000 LKR to 150000 LKR
