Bradby Shield winners Royal College lost very baldly to St Peters the unbeaten schools rugby team for the past two years. It was a humiliating defeat for biggest school in Colombo and the final score was 41/ nil.

There were large gathering of Royalists and Peterites to watch the match and all were thrilled about the performance of the Pete team who played showed a marvelous team play.
