A cargo aircraft crashed near the airport in Sharjah, in the United Arab Emirates on Wednesday, al Arabiya television reported, adding that casualties have been reported.
The Dubai-based television network did not give further details in the on-screen news bulletin.
Sharjah is one of seven emirates in the UAE federation that also includes trade and tourism hub Dubai and oil exporter Abu Dhabi.
