They cant that is point of decentralized environment . But they trying to make own digital currency why still people need to be get paid , buy goods and services so they will say only our currency should be available for payments .
They will try to regulate any other 3rd party coins . But there can be different coins accept different services and those coins people who have it can still be invisible . They cant regulate everything . They understood people stop working with paper coin money any more and panic so they also came to race . Ones they lose the current control over money governments will fall . And who can will be the one environment (possible above companies will hold it but never know )
