The Political office of UNP Puttalam district MP Ranga Bandara located at Anamaduwa has been set on fire a shortwhile ago, Mr. Bandara said.
He said extensive damage has been caused to the office and attempts are still being made to put off the fire.
Mr. Bandara during the past few weeks was involved in the political campaign for the UNP for the North Central Provincial elections.
