hi.. is it ok to give the remains of the buddha poojawa to a beggar? i have heard no one should eat what was set aside for lord buddha. but in a country with such poverty n hunger (basically right outside the temple) is it bad to give someone in hunger that?
pls enlighten me anyone who knows better..

Yes. Its OK to do so.

What matters is the volition, and if the volition is good, it is good deed.

Definitely it is OK to make use of food for any worthy cause. The Buddha has never asked people to waste food. Give the Buddha poojawa to anyone in need.
