Get Intel I3 is same price as core 2 duo with 1gb ati vga card which is better than nvida with 7200rpm hdd 500-640gb check the price difference minimum of 2-4 gb ram . for improved performance you should get 4gb. Get motherboard with ddr3 ram . which is cheaper and faster than ddr2. BY the way if you want overclocking do not get intel motherboards. Use gigabyte or asus or foxconn. Gigabyte has better over clocking for speed.
