In order to make sure these children are at least provided with basic education, the army seva vanitha unit has established a fund, offering scholarships for these needy children. 2 categories : Children aged 1 to 5 Rs. 750/- per month Years 6 to O/L and A/L – Rs. 1,000/- per month The cheques can be drawn in favour of ; SEVA VANITH SCHOLARSHIP FUND Account No; 049-2-001-7- 2033773; People's Bank at Army Headquarters. You can sponsor a child for one year or continue. * If you need to establish direct links with the families, that too can be arranged. * You may be already a sponsor or a foster parent for a deserving child, however it will be appreciated if you could recommend your friends & relatives (especially living overseas) to help this worthy cause.
