EWIS being the proud owner of the formidable ‘Southern Sharks’, comprises of talented & energetic young Sri Lankan Rugby players including school boys with the combination of world renowned International players and a coach. The 2011 season was extremely successful for the Southern Sharks and the team emerged Winners of the First Leg in Kandy and Runners-Up in the overall Tournament. 2012 was no exception for the Sharks becoming the runners up during the First leg in Kandy and a healthy 4th place of the overall tournament.
